Dr. George Zalzal graduated with honours from Brummana High School in 1971. He is the eldest of his two brothers Dr. Nabih '76 (AUB '83 M.D.), and Dr. Rabih '80 (AUB '87) who resides in America, and who is on the American Board Certified Internal Medicine.
His only sister, Dr. Mireille Zalzal Batrouny '81, (AUB '86 M.D.), is the BHS school doctor!

All brothers and sisters are graduates of Brummana High School and the American University of Beirut.

His awards among many include the certificate of honour from the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He is the author of over 125 publications mostly dedicated to clinical and basic science research as related to pediatric laryngotracheal disorders. He has presented in over 175 national and international meetings.
