As a follow up to my last circular Issue # 198, about the 30th OSA International Convention, dated May 1, 2024, here are some more details:
The Convention will commence on Saturday July 6, 2024, with the OSA General Assembly at the BHS Meeting House.
The
day will start off at 11:00 am at the BHS Main Drive where we will all meet up to reconnect with friends and former classmates while enjoying a delicious Man’oushi breakfast and some refreshments. This will be followed by the OSA General Assembly at the Meeting House.

We urge all to attend the General Assembly to hear about the latest news from the OSA and BHS as well as listen to riveting speeches by our speakers, including this year’s guest speakers Dr. Miguel Abboud ’74 and Ms. Loulou Khazen ’99.
During the General Assembly, we will be honouring attending members of the Class of ’74 and the Class of ’99 for their 50th and 25th Graduation Anniversaries from BHS respectively. If you are a member of these classes and still haven’t confirmed your attendance, please contact the OSA office at

Saturday night, join us for a fabulous dinner at Al Bustan Hotel in Beit Mery.
Be there starting 8:00 pm for some welcome drinks followed by a seated dinner with delicious food and an open premium bar. 8e Art will be providing amazing entertainment throughout the night, so get ready to party, and have a wonderful time with old friends and new acquaintances.
Tickets for the dinner are 65 USD per person and can be purchased at the OSA Office in Brummana.

The 30th OSA International Convention will culminate in a fun-packed Sports Day on Sunday July 7, starting 10:00 am at the BHS Basketball court. The day will be filled with fun activities including football, basketball, table tennis, backgammon, swimming and other sports activities.
After the games, we will all head to the BHS cafeteria for a traditional lunch of delicious food options like the famous BHS Fassoulya & Rice (Beans & Rice) , tasty Moujaddara and salad and other delicacies that will remind you of your fondest school memories.
The Sports Day is open to all Old Scholars, their friends and family, so be many and wear your Rizkallah, Wald and Little house colors!
